This morning brought another milestone into our life.... the removal of the pack and play from our bedroom. Emma's pack and play/bassinet has been moved downstairs for napping and playtime during the day. The room feels empty without it in there and it is still strange to look over and see she is not there. On the flip side of the coin, we have our room back to ourselves and it is so nice to be able to talk before bed again and leave the lights on when we are getting ready for bed.... our sanctuary is back! :)
Emma tried out her Bumbo for the first time yesterday... she sits up perfectly fine in it but I think she does not like the restriction. She kept arching her back and flipping out of it *sigh* ... all of that waiting for nothing! :)
