Long day already! Emma and I were up early and out the door to go grocery shopping while she was in a good mood (sorry I missed you this morning Amy Jo!). We did an excellent job grocery shopping! We lost our Bjorn carrier somewhere between here and West Virginia a couple weeks ago. It is nowhere to be found, so I had to run to Target first and buy a new carrier :( This new carrier is not nearly as comfortable for me but Emma seemed more comfortable in it. My back didn't hurt at all but my shoulders were killing me. Now, granted, we walked around in Meijer for almost 2 hours so I think that would make me sore anyway. The good news is that this carrier was about $50 cheaper than the Bjorn ones. It doesn't look as cool but it gets the job done :) I also bought Emma her snowsuit for the winter while I was in Target. I can't believe it is going to be winter weather out there soon! Yuck. However, that does mean the holidays are coming and I love Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years! :)
Emma Sue is such a fun baby! She is constantly jabbering now and is trying out all kinds, levels and lengths of sounds... mostly screaming much to her Daddy's dismay. She is definitely a screamer. So, she has been introduced to the word "no" many times in the last two days :) Sarah (the dog) has also become more interested in Emma now that she is more active. Emma was in the Jenny jump up yesterday and Sarah was laying down in front of her. Sarah picked up her head to smell Emma's face and Emma decided to stick out her tongue to try to lick Sarah's nose (gross!). I laughed so hard but of course when I got the camera the moment was gone. It was pretty cute :)
