A trip to the Art Museum

Back on September 24th, a lot of museums were free to get into for a special museum day. We took the opportunity to take Emma to the Columbus Museum of Art. It has been years since we have been there and they have made LOTS of improvements and even had a child-centered area. It was awesome! We had a really good time and enjoyed all of the art. We just have to work on teaching Emma that even though it is really cool, making all of the rooms echo with her loud voice is not proper art museum etiquette. Oops. :)
Emma loved this room that was kid-focused. They had a lot of animal displays and it was all too old for her but she loved the bright colors and walking around with Grandpa.
On Saturday's, they have a room towards the back where you go and create art... this time the theme was a "city of the future", what started as Emma's first art-making experience ended with Chris's inability to deny himself a creative opportunity to display his imagination and Emma pretty much didn't do any of this :) It was really fun though!
Daddy tried to get a picture of us by this sculpture but Emma was done. She wanted nothing to do with the picture. My face looks pretty funny in the second picture because I was surprised she gave me a hug but then she pulled my hair and it hurt...  silly kid.

Fun day at the art museum :)
