Seems that there is a lot of growing going on in our household:
Emma continues to amaze me each and every day as she grows into a little girl and grows away from being my tiny little baby. She is VERY active and constantly wants to be at the center of all of the action. She is no longer content with being held and wants to be playing or having her attention occupied at all times. SO, that inspired a very busy day for us on Saturday. Chris's Dad came over and we took Emma to the zoo (where she LOVED watching the fish in the big fish tank), then we went to Babies R Us and purchased a high chair and an exersaucer for her. Then we went to a Giant Eagle store opening and walked around and I can't tell you how many people stopped us to comment on Emma's pigtails... they were a big hit at the Giant Eagle. :)
Emma is currently pushing the limits on her 3-6 month clothes. This child grows so fast! Unfortunately, she is still waking up every 2-3 hours through the night. Chris & I are exhausted but we are patiently trying our new method of just popping the paci back in her mouth and walking out of the room. She falls back asleep but still wakes up every 2-3 hours all night long. I sure hope this doesn't keep up for very much longer! This mama needs sleep! I can't even think straight! :)
